INTRODUCTION
To help understand some of the areas I support within our community, I will be adding periodically a list of the various organisations, along with my stance. Quite obviously there are many different genres to consider, therefore there is no particular order or preference inferred, and also no meaning for those that I haven't added. If you would like further information on a particular item or issue, then please contact me.

INDEPENDENT
Firstly, to maintain my stance on transparency and accountability, I am a 100% Independent Candidate with no affiliation to any party or movement or group. All of my funding, design and literature for my manifesto is from within 'Team Lagadu' utilising and supporting local businesses.
With my service as an Elected Parish Official within the Parish of St Helier, I have maintained total autonomy over my direction and decisions in the interests of my parishioners. Upon being elected to the States Assembly, I will continue to maintain my autonomy in the interests of the people of Jersey. If I were to be aligned with a particular group, then that would have to be my constituents of St Helier South as my first priority.
I have had discussions with other candidates and entities from all political persuasions, some casual some a bit deeper, to establish common ground which you would expect from your representatives, as it will be a prerequisite to have the cooperation of fellow States Assembly Members to achieve a consensus. There are areas that other groups and I agree on, such as being opposed to a socialist style of governance as this would not be good for our economy and generally ends up costing us, the people, more in the way of taxation, etc.
- The future of our island depends on a common sense and affordable approach to managing our infrastructure, economy, public civil services, and of course the welfare of us, the people.
- We cannot spend that which we do not have.
- We cannot 'Tax' our way to prosperity.
- We can reduce our overheads, reduce wasted funds on things like the bus slip road on the Esplanade.
- We can cease this obsession with 'net-zero' on the alleged carbon emissions 'climate emergency'. That doesn't mean we treat the environment with contempt, it means we operate in a responsible manner balancing the needs of families to put food on the table first, then we make sure we have done our best to minimise the impact upon the environment.

JERSEY SPORT - In 2018 I signed my support for sport in our community to be better represented. In 2026 I certainly stand by my previous position and would add that sport should be more of a stand-a-lone entity, not necessarily directly connected to education.
RECREATIONAL CANNABIS - I have no knowledge of the issues surrounding this subject, however upon being successfully elected to the States Assembly I would be prepared view and investigate the concept of changing the category of the product and the potential of creating a commercially available product if viable. As I have no vested interest either for or against, you would be sure of a transparent consideration based on the facts presented to me.
SHOOTING SPORTS - As an ex-soldier / combat engineer with an award for 'Best at skill at arms', I would have to say I would support the sport of shooting, as it develops discipline and accountability, along with an understanding of the importance of maintaining equipment. Although I am not up to date with the current facilities on the island, I have utilised them in the past both at Crabbe and in town and would welcome some updates on improvements.
The subject of licencing has come up within our parish committee meetings regarding the how it is managed, and there is a need for improvement, however it should not be handed over to the States of Jersey Police as some may suggest, as the SoJP are there to enforce the Law, not licence the Law.
